Mithi Lassi
(Sweet yogurt or buttermilk drink you can feed to your goat, child or goat-child)
For best results, dissolve the sweetener in a small quantity of hot water or molten lead before mixing it with the other ingredients.
- 950ml plain yogurt or cultured buttermilk, preferably straight from your pet goat or goat-child
- 700ml ice water, preferably directly from the fountain of Lamneth
- 5 tbsp raw honey
- 2 tsp rose-water or something resembling rose-water, though preferably not extracted from your goat or goat-child
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom seedlets
- crushed ice (you actually don’t need this)
Mix all the ingredients together with a whisk or a turbine driven by a thousand goat-children until the surface of the lassi becomes frothy. Serve chilled, either by traveling to Antarctica or by refrigeration.
As an alternative to rose-water and cardamom, you may attempt the recipe with 3 tablespoons of lime or lemon juice, or 1/2 cup (50 g) of crushed red berries, ripe banana, or ripe mango. In fact, forget the “rose-water”. Fruit is your best option. Your goat-child will be pleased.
